What is a Podcast?
A podcast is a recording of an audio discussion on a specific topic, like music, business, or travel, that can be listened to. They’re often found on iTunes and Spotify but are sometimes hosted on websites.

​How does AMW’s Podcast Tour work?
Podcast tours are like traditional press tours, except you don’t have to spend months traveling to a location or paying appearance fees. It is done via phone or Zoom, depending on the host. We pitch the artist or project to suitable podcast hosts within our network. As we receive expressed interest from hosts, we’ll notify you and work on the schedules that suit your time.

​When does the campaign start?
As soon as we receive the filled-out questionnaire from you, our team will review and start the pitching process.

​How long does it take before I get an interview?
It depends on a lot of factors, but typically, we get responses from the hosts within 2-4 weeks.

​How many podcast interviews should I expect?
Each project is different, so there aren’t really exact numbers. However, each campaign include targets that we try to reach each month.

​What happens if I miss the scheduled interview?
Unfortunately, we are unable to reschedule an interview, regardless of the reason. Once the client confirms a date and time for the interview, we always try to avoid cancellations and no-shows, as that would look unprofessional. Any missed or canceled interview by the client will still be counted as a carried-out deliverable.

​What happens if I decline a Podcast?
Although our clients are free to decline presented Podcast opportunities, they will still be counted as a campaign deliverable.

​So what if the podcast host cancels or reschedules the interview?
Host cancellation or rescheduling is something we are unable to control. However, if and when this happens, our team will work on setting up a new schedule for you or pitch to another podcast host, depending on the situation.

​I’m done with the interview. When will it be posted online?
The date depends on the hosts. But as soon as it goes live, our team will surely notify you and provide the live link as well via the client dashboard.
